Kermit Gosnell found guilty on three out of four counts of first degree murder, making him death penalty eligible, and mutiple other counts in his 200+ count criminal indictment.

Here is JD Mullane, News Columnist for the Bucks County Courier Times and The Intelligencer, and his blow by blow account on Twitter as the jury verdicts rolled in just a short time ago

Courtroom fell silent as #Gosnell found guilty of murdering babies A, C and D. He faces death in each case.

Baby A was photographed by #Gosnell employee Adrienne Moton, disgusted after Dr Gosnell joked "He's big enough to walk you to the bus stop."

Baby C, a little girl, was seen by clinic employees moving her arm before neck was snipped.

Baby D was born in a commode in the abortion clinic, and struggled to get out before A clinic employee snipped the child's neck.

The abortionist #Gosnell also guilty of infanticide in death of Baby A, and conspiracy in deaths of babies C and D.

#Gosnell was also found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of patient Karnamaya Mongar, who died of an overdose of sedatives.

#Gosnell found not guilty in death of Baby E, who was heard emitting a single baby sound before neck was cut.

Jury found Phila abortionist #Gosnell guilty of "corrupt organizations," and conspiracy to perform abortions past Pa.'s 24 week limit.

#Gosnell also found guilty on most of the more than 200 counts of Pa.'s "informed consent" law requiring a 24-hour wait.

At last, some justice. These convictions underscore the reckless disregard for human life in Philadelphia and America. Anyone demanding oversight of abortion clinics two years ago was denounced as a right-wing kook conspiring against women. Now the baby bodies are stacked like cordwood and breathless shock spews from the organized purveyors of this form of infanticide--read today's statements from Planned Parenthood and NARAL. For them Gosnell justifies unfettered abortion rights as long as they're performed in their franchise sites. An independent medical doctor is denounced as a back alley butcher. Frankly, Gosnell was a store front butcher, and I'm sure that those abortion advocates had two press releases prepared in case he was acquitted. I hope he doesn't get the death penalty--he deserves it--but I want him alive to point to, and keep the focus on this holocaust.

Whether carefully reflected upon or chosen at random, picking a confirmation name is a personal and spiritual journey for Catholics, reflecting a connection to the saints or a loved one and a commitment to embodying their virtues.

In young people preparing for confirmation, I see a yearning for something more in their lives, beyond the noise and distractions of technology and social isolation.
