The leaders pledged to continue working "to protect to the fullest extent of the law undocumented students on our campuses" and to promote retention of students with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status.
Apart from restricting life choices among young Catholics, debt also creates new relationship structures within their families based on guilt and co-dependence rather than on love.
"Since genuine attempts to dialogue and find a resolution to the crisis seem to have ended, Trinity is regrettably no longer available as a venue for meeting," the Jesuits said.
